Insect Control & Fumigation
Ant, Flea & Wasp Infestation
Fleas can live between 7 and 14 days and will divide their time between living on your pet to feed and returning to your carpet to lay more eggs and this happens every day. The larvae then get’s buried into carpets and upholstery and can lay dormant for several months. When the adults sense warmth and vibrations they will jump onto pets and or humans starting the cycle all over again.
Our main wasp pest is the Common or German wasp who likes to set up shop in our garden sheds and attic spaces. During late summer young queens and males emerge and mating occurs, the young queens fly off to find hibernation sites. With the onset of cooler weather the wasps start to feed on overripe fruit, juice and other sweet things which makes them tipsy leading to aggressive behaviour towards anyone interfering with them.
Ants tunnel under paving slabs and block paving causing them to subside and become uneven. As the weather gets warmer the ants become more active. The ants most likely to effect you are black garden ants.
Ants nest can be very large with tens of thousand of ants. This makes DIY treatment very difficult. The commercial insecticides we use are not available on the High Street.
